5 PM FRI JUN 21 Evacuation Map for Medicine Hat was posted 5:30 PM FRI JUN 21 Closing all Trails including: Echo Dale Shale Trail adjacent to the River Kiwanis River Park Trail Devonian Trail to Strathcona Island Seven Persons Creek Trail from south end of Strathcona Island Park to Dunmore Rd thru to College Ave SE Kin Coulee Tunnel under Trans Canada Highway Saamis Archeological Site Trail and trail up to Southwest Dr NW Riverside Trail from Trans Canada Highway to 5 Ave NW Altawana Ave NE Trail along north side of the river to CPR bridge Parkview Close NE trail to Police Point Park All Trails in Police Point Park All Trails in Strathcona Island Park 7 P.M. Due to Alberta Environment’s most recent report that the river flow increase has slowed slightly, but will still arrive in Medicine Hat later Saturday evening, the mandatory evacuation orders have been revised to state the objective is to have residents relocated by 10 a.m. Saturday June 22.
