5 September 2013 For Xavier School Students: Dear Parents, Please be informed that due to the number of class days lost last month as a result of declared public holidays and inclement weather, there will be NO quarterly exams this Second Quarter for both Grade School and High School in both the San Juan and Nuvali campuses. This will allow teachers to maximize time for instruction and ensure mastery and understanding of skills and lessons among our students. It has always been the school’s priority to give importance to student learning over mere coverage of subject matter or frequency of assessments. Quarterly grades for the Second Quarter will be equivalent to the students’ class standing. This is the same arrangement as the Third Quarter grading system.
