5 Thanksgiving health tips for those who dont want to screw up their progress or even just for people who dont want to feel like crap because they ate too much. ;) Feel free to SHARE this post if you find it helpful or a good reminder. 1. Dont save up your calories for your big feast(s) - if you skip your meals to eat a big feast for dinner your body is going to store that food as fat, rather than use it as fuel. 2. Fit in a quick workout - a short 15 minute HIIT can be effective or go for a walk after you eat with a family member. 3. If you splurge dont turn it into a binge. Its OKAY to splurge (heck if you are fitting in your workouts/clean meals throughout the week you deserve some fun foods) but keep it to TODAY. Dont let what you eat today cause you guilt that will turn into several days. 4. Drink your Shakeology! I had mine for breakfast but it makes a great lunch or snack option as well. I know that even when I indulge (which I will!) Ive had my vitamins/minerals/veggies/fruits for the day. 5. Be grateful for the family, friends or coworkers surrounding you.
