5 days and counting. Made it to Amherst County just shy of Amherst. Went up a lot of hills today with small shoulders and a lot of traffic. Started out with a nice breakfast with Bedford Elk Lodge member Kieth Cambell. Had a run in with a large pit bull right away which woke me up. Gradually made my way through the hilly city of Lynchburg. I appreciate Roger Shepard for inviting me to speak at the Lynchburg Elks Lodge tonight. Went very well and they donated a $100 toward the Run. Im a little beat but the excitement and all your wonderful support helps immensely.
