5 hours ago near Prince George This is very hard and so sad that I am in tears. last night was one of the greatest nights and shows this whole summer, thanks to the Burden, Horses and Bayonets and the Backseat Collective,and my work with Papa Yiannis has been very rewarding these past few months, it is with utmost sadness to announce the closing of the business for good. Saturday will be our last night in operation. We were given notice today that our employer has certain health issues, as does his wife who resides in Vancouver and cannot continue. Its difficult to swallow and to just walk away from a place I had so much passion for. So yeah. If anyone is looking for a hard working chef/manager/server etc.. I am now a free agent again. Im trying hard to keep my chin up here and move on to a better future with my family, my music, putting out that cookbook that Ive been working on, and my 6 + years of commitment to my metal radio show Inthe Moshpit . Over 25 years in the music and restaurant industry, helping thousands of bands has to account for something. Competing in The Iron Chef competition this year was one of the best days of my life. Thanks for all the support but I guess its time to move on.
