***5 songs in 5 days - Day 3!*** PLEASE READ... Thanks to Roddy Lynch for my nomination to share 5 songs in 5 days. The songs can be anything you want and you just share the song and give a little background. Something positive to share on your newsfeeds! For my 3rd song Ive decide to pay homage to My good old Rock Drummer Days so Ive chosen Aerosmiths F.I.N.E. My musical journey has been a very eclectic one and I wasnt always a country boy! Back in my School and Uni days, I was a rocker-at-heart and played in a few bands. I cut my teeth playing the music of bands like Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, AC DC to name only a few. I had everything from a crazy blonde mullet and 20 wristbands on each arm to customised skinny jeans with flames and cowboy boots! Ive chosen this particular song because it was one of my favourite songs to drum to back then and in typical 80s rock style, the lyrics are very tongue-in-cheek and even take a crack at the censorship laws that reigned in many of these great bands. Its amazing to see how times have changed because these days, one swear word isnt after the other and has become common place in music. Aerosmith have so many songs to choose from but this one made always me feel great as a drummer! ;) Have a listen, break out your air guitar and bang your head like you just dont care!
