5 weeks, 25 radiation treatments are now COMPLETE! I cried like a baby all through the last treatment today, Im so glad this part is over. Last week I ask my doctor what my odds are, he said he is 80 percent sure the cancer well be gone but even more encouraging is the study he showed me. An 8 year study is being conducted with ppl that have my exact type of lymphoma. The encouraging news is that after 8 years 100 percent of the patients are all still alive! Thats pretty good odds. Yet even with those odds I still have fear of the unknown. The next scan is in 6 weeks, until then I plan on living life as if none of this is in my way. God bless all of you.
