5 year old: I need you to read me something fun before bed because I think Im going to have nightmares tonight. Me: Why? 5 year old: Because we read this book today in school about this scary man who helped this girl make straw into gold and then wanted to steal her baby. Me: You mean Rumpelstiltskin? That was my favorite book when I was your age. Id make my mom read it to me like 10 times before I went to bed! 5 year old: So, what youre saying is that youve always been this weird?
