5 years ago a few taxi drivers met at Colina Park to talk about the growing concerns they faced in their industry. Today, I was proud to stand in the same location and announce to several drivers that the councils recent decision to lift the cap on taxicab permits has been supported and signed by Mayor Kevin Faulconer . Their journey for respect and dignity in their workplace has come this far and we now go to MTS to make sure that the policy is implemented thoughtfully and smoothly.
