5 years ago on this day (one day before my 39 birthday) the doctor found a lump. Three weeks later it was diagnosed as cancer and my survival journey began. It was a precious time in my life filled with many many blessed moments of love and support from friends, family, students and community. Im about celebrate my 5 year anniversary of being cancer free. Something so many I know have not gotten to do. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to make this post and I do it in honor of my fellow survivors and in memory of those that lost the fight. Praise be to God!!!!!!!
