5 years ago, somebody in Brooklyn got a cute little puppy they named York. And all that little pup wanted to do was learn how to please his person. Sadly, out of all the humans who might have been thrilled with that, unlucky York got the person who couldn’t be bothered showing his pup what to do. So now, 5 years later, York is growling and barking and having no clue how to behave. And he’s sat for days and days in a cage at Brooklyn ACC as he waited for his person to come and spring him from jail. And now that he’s not a cute, cudlly little guy, that person just figured they’d leave him there. But ACC won’t hold York any longer and he’s on tomorrow’s euthanasia list. Tonight, York needs a very special, very dog savvy person who understands that he’s not too old to have his puppy dreams come true; he’s not too old to learn how he really is supposed to behave; he’s not too old to find that one human who will be his dream come true. If you’re that person, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt York.
