5 years ago today I got news that started a 34 day period that changed my entire family and life forever. Today was the day that I got the terrible news that my mother had a massive stroke. That phone call still seems like yesterday. She wasnt able able to speak or walk, or really move anything around anymore as one side of her body was unable to move. It still pains me to think what was going on in her head while she was going through that 5 week ordeal before she passed away. She fought to get better the whole time. She was so outgoing and active and loving that I know for her not to be able to be herself anymore, well, it was heartbreaking. For her and everyone who knew her. That heartbreak is something that I may never get over no matter how hard I try. And God above knows I try... I love you and miss you everyday Mom.
