5 years ago today, I received life saving stem cells from my wonderful sister Carolyn Shoaf. That procedure followed years of chemo, radiation, monticlonal antibodies & experimental treatments. I look back & wonder just how technically pickled I am LOL! I am so truly grateful to my sister, my family, my friends, doctors & medical staff for all that they have done to help me continue to be here & watch my children grow up. Especially my loving husband Shawn Todd for being my glue through thick & thin. And without our good friends Rick & Melody Proctor.... Well, lets just say: What a blessing God gave us when he put the Proctor family in our lives. How blessed, blessed, blessed I am to have all the love & support I have had over the past 12 years. With Him, we can do anything. To God be all the glory! If tomorrow it all changes, I know that He will be with me & He will never forsake me.
