5 years in Florida and know what I havent done yet? TONS OF STUFF. Disney? Nope. Universal? Nope. Anna Maria Island? Nope. Miami? Nope. Caves and caverns of northern FL? Nope. The Keys? Nope. Dolphin Watching? Nope. Rented a boat to relax while hubby fished? Nope. Paintballing? Nope. Horseback Riding? Nope.Big Cat Rescue? Nope. Swimming with Manatees? Nope. Ive gone to the beach, gone to Sea World (which btw was AMAZING!), Lowry Park Zoo, Treasure Island, and gone to Busch Gardens. This is NOT A COMPLAINT. Just a tally....of the things I have yet to do but will do #promisetomyself I never understood people who lived in NYC (where I was born and raised) and never did the touristy things until now....not seeing the Statue of Liberty, not visiting the Museum of Natural History, back in the day visiting the Twin Towers, and now visiting the 9/11 Memorial. And soon Ill be leaving Tampa to a new future....having not done so many of the touristy things here. So now I understand. I will be doing the touristy things out there in Texas...and I will be back to Tampa to do all the touristy things here. My goal is to live my life by design going forward....and Im willing to work my behind off to get there. I want to be able to enjoy my days and nights, and do all the wonderful things that Ive not been able to do until now....taking my kids with me at times....and not at others ;) Big goals and dreams...to be back up by big actions and big risks...or what looks like risks...Taking a hold of life and moving forward....not going backwards! Looking forward to new things in life...and I think its about time!
