50 YEARS AGO YOU KNEW CHRISTMAS WAS JUST AROUND THE CORNER WHEN EVERY OTHER TV COMMERCIAL FEATURED RON POPEIL & HIS RONCO GADGETS. But wait--theres more--click LIKE if you remember, bought, or still have any of the Ronco products pictured below. Inventor & marketeer Ron Popeil founded Ronco in 1964. It was a like father--like son story. Rons dad invented & promoted the famous 1950s kitchen gadget, the Chop-O-Matic--remember that. Other Ronco products you saw TV commercials for included the Dial-A-Matic, Food DeHydrator, & Miracle Broom. I recall seeing Ronco products when we shopped Two Guys in Allentown. I think my dad had a Pocket Fisherman (Roncos best known product) & my mom had a Dial-A-Matic. We just cant remember that record vacuum gadget. How about you--do you have a Ronco memory? Ron sold Ronco in 2005 for $55 million. Even in his 70s, Ron is still no stranger to TV. Most recently he is seen huckstering Showtimes Rotisserie Ovens--the ones where you set it & forget it.
