50 years ago Anthony Hopkins had to choose between a career in music and a career in acting. He made the right choice but kept the music to a waltz he had written but that had never been performed. 5 decades later, Danish violinist/conductor and his renowned Johann Strauss Orchestra performed the waltz with Hopkins as their very special guest. Hopkins reaction to hearing his 50 yr. old music for the first time is priceless. And as my cello-playing wife pointed out, their are no music stands---the orchestra performed the whole thing from memory.
