50 years later and >20 trillion dollars, the war on poverty has failed...why? God says, if a person does not work then they dont eat. What was HE saying? There is personal responsibility, along with accountability that every parent should train and teach their children about. Parents must teach and lead by example! It also behooves us as citizens to elect officials who espouse policies that promote business, economic freedom, and personal responsibility. Unfortunately, we have promoted policies that benefit politicians and denigrate many citizens. Here is an example... As you can see in this video, America’s welfare system breeds entitlement. The woman in the video, Kiara, is 30 years old. She has been on welfare since the age of 18. That’s 12 years she’s been receiving government aid. She does not have a job and doesn’t think she should get one.
