52 Things in 52 Weeks - Number 8 - Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) - located in the middle of Los Angeles at Hancock Park, LACMA contains 8 buildings filled with all kinds of art - famous paintings (see Picasso picture - almost got me kicked out of the joint), sculptures, photographs, international pieces and contemporary pieces. There was an amazing show on Stanley Kubrick and his films, part of a marriage between film and art the museum is currently promoting (I believe the display runs through end of June). There was actually so much there that I recommend if you go for the first time, bring someone who has been there before. If you must go alone, watch out for the guards.
