#5613 "Hi all, SP is deemed as one of the top polytechnics in Singapore (though other polytechnics are catching up.) Just because we are the first polytechnic in Singapore, doesn’t mean that we will remain as the top forever. Please stop thinking that we are better than everyone else! Sometimes I have gatherings with secondary school friends and my friends from SP will give insensitive comments when discussed about school related stuffs. Like when other polytechnics talk about field trips or whatever they will give comments like “Wah you all like so good life always go field trips.” Then “SP damn stress eh keep do projects!” or when share about their lessons or exams, SP will be like “lol confirm very easy, SP standard damn high our exam confirm more difficult.” Year Ones are USUALLY the one that’s whinier because they’re new to the environment and cannot adapt. But come on, I know it’s difficult but it’s definitely not easy for everyone else. Every school have its certain stress level. Once we get used to SP, all we have to do is actually chiong projects and memorize our ass off for exams. I have so many year ones friends who is having it so much harder: TP who have ENDLESS projects making them goes to school EVERYDAY even weekends and unable to sleep for many days. RP who they have to stress EVERYDAY for their daily grade. Some immature children may still DISAGREE and start bashing other polytechnics again (or start bashing me) but please, cut them some slack. As an SP student, I am proud to say that I’ve never once think that we are any better than them. We are all equal and fighting for that one diploma. :)"
