#5772 Im so sick and tired of tiring to not only upset myself and boil my own blood but to defend what islam is really about. If people these days were to educate themselves a little bit more, just a tiny bit, it would be a lot easier. I mean we go to SFU for a reason, right? to educate ourselves at least? Have you ever noticed that if its a brown race decent, he is targeted as a terrorist, yet if its a Caucasian doing the exact same action, its nothing but a shooting. If you really love to accuse other religions and what they really teach, go learn about them first hand. Go pick up their scripture and read what it really teaches. Because the last time I remember, people were educating themselves more and more about Islam after 9/11 and wanted to know what it really was about and whether it approves/favours terrorist like attacks. They picked up a Quran and could find nothing that was to be in their favour, which would display Islam in a negative manner. What it did do was teach them what Islam really is about, a religion of peace. Thats why Islam is the fastest growing religion right now. Even after 9/11. So Whenever you hear a “Muslim” killing other people … remember, he’s not a Muslim to begin with. And please do not judge people based on their race. I’m reading other confessions and comments where people are scared how others will look at them on the bus or at the sky train station.
