$585 Hey... Hellow everyone !! I am Posting some important things to Share... Since this a Love Page... I respect all peoples Choice and I am not here to Spread any Christianity or anything like that.. But this Post is especially Dedicated to #Confused Christian boy/girl who is Confused should I marry a Hindu/Sarna Boy Girl or not ?? Since after reading many Posts in this Page ,I have seen #Sarna saying my Love is a Christian girl but she is not willing to marry me becoz of our Difference in Religion or a Christian Girl/Boy saying Can I marry a Boy/Girl of other Religion... Now I rest my CASE on this... with some Pratical and Biblical Truths... and Let all Confusion Dissapear.. What does the Bible teach about inter-religious marriages ? Can a christian marry a non-christian ? The Bible clearly discourages inter-religious marriages. This kind of marriage can be a great challange for your Christian faith unless you are already prepared to deny Jesus for the sake of a man or woman. Avoiding being unequally yoked is an excellent biblical principle. Paul advised the Christians at Corinth to avoid entering significant relationship,such as marriage, with unbelievers. There you have it: Dont marry an unbeliever—that is, someone who doesnt share the basics of Christian doctrine and practice. As those who have been there can attest, raising the next generation of Christians is simply tougher in such case. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? Lets see another verse in the same context: 1 Corinthians 7:12-14 To the I say that if any brother has a wife who is an #unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her. If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband is made holy because of his wife, and the unbelieving wife is made holy because of her husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. 1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, While reading thse verses we must keep in mind, Apostle Paul is talking to new christians, who had had their marriages before their conversion and Paul and Peter asks them to stay with thier non believing partners so that they can also learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. This should not be taken as a recommendation or permission for inter-religious marriages. Christian marriage is not a merely social or biological construct, but an icon of the union between Christ and the church. Both husband and wife are held accountable to the community for the marriage itself. We all live in mixed societies and the bible tells us to love our neighbours and be friends with all people. we are not to hate anyone but we should know our limits, how far we can go with someone. Christian marriage is a holy matrimony ,and thats where the church should graciously speak the hard word that marriage isnt just about romance, but about gospel and mission. Some will hear this and go away angry or saddened.
