5977: Hello, I was wondering if I could ask a question of the female viewers of this page. Casual observation suggests that whenever there is an event that involves dancing the default move for around 85% of the patrons, including the women, is “grinding.” Given how tall I am, there is often a massive height difference between my hips and those of my dance partner. Plus, if our hips ever touch, even accidentally, she usually gets freaked out and the dancing stops then and there. I have often tried other dance moves, but this more often than not results in other patrons forming a circle around me and cheering me on (as flattering as that is, it doesn’t exactly make dancing with a partner easy). I suppose my question is if there is a good way to signal that I’d prefer to do any kind of dancing other than grinding? Is there a SECOND most popular dance move?
