5K Riverside run and 2K fun run organised by Middlesbrough Council. Join your colleagues, friends and family by taking part in one of Teesside’s most popular annual running events on Sunday 1 June 2014. Starting at Middlesbrough FC’s Riverside Stadium via a route taking in sights such as the iconic Transporter Bridge, Middlesbrough dock and the Temenos sculpture before ending with a big Olympic style lap inside the Riverside Stadium. You even get a chance to go around the hallowed turf of the Boro’s ground and take in the atmosphere of a hundreds of cheering family and friends in the back straight stand. By supporting your hospitals charity means that you and your friends/family can run and raise money for a ward, department or healthcare area of your choice across our trust. The 5K road race is open is anyone over 13 years of age, the race starts at 10.15am entry is £10. The 2K fun run is open to all ages, the race starts at 11.15 am entry is £5.
