Loving Jesus, I thank you for the gift of participating in your priesthood, these eleven years. I thank you for my parents, siblings, bishops, teachers and formators, relations, benefactors, benefactresses, friends, and all whose lives have touched mine in any way; both during my formation and in the course of my priestly ministry. 2. I thank you for my past and my present, which, despite my own unworthiness, has been marked by your divine and unmistakable presence. I still ask forgiveness for any way my human nature has led me to err, both as a christian, and even worse, as a catholic priest. I commend my future into your hands, knowing that WITHOUT you, I can do nothing, and ask for YOUR grace that I may not be a source of stumbling to any of your creatures. 3. Do bless my colleagues – Frs Ferdinand Emezie [Abonyi], Andrew Okwudilichi [Eze], Matthew Irunnaya [Ezea], Christian Udochukwu [Nwangwu], Johnson Uchenna [Ozioko] and Cyril Uchenna [Onyishi].-sustaining us in your care and priestly fraternity. And to our dear brother and late PRIMUS, Fr Bernard Chukwuemeka Eze, kindly grant eternal repose. 4. Finally, my beloved ones, PLEASE pray for me. Pray for all priests too.
