5th October 2014, our second AYSL league match and another tough encounter with Arion FA. Having dominated the ball for most of the game and being in the lead for most of the game, we were unlucky not to secure the 3 points. Long shots in big goals with no recognised goal keeper probably cost us the points, however in this game the team showed what amazing football they can play as a team :- 1) Breaking lines with the killer pass (and run) was tried and executed well on a number of occasions by different players, 2) our striker setting the ball and then looking for the return pass 3) working the triangles in the middle of the park 4) playing out from the back with the two defenders making space for each other 5) Pressure and cover defending 6) patient build up play..... specific topics that have been worked on during training its great to see their execution on the park. Well done to all players in the black team for a sterling performance, which showed maturity beyond the teams tender years. Thanks to Coach Rob for guiding the team on this occasion.
