‘5th Yashwant International Film Festival 2015’ The Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan, Mumbai and Pune Film Festival, Pune in a collective venture and in association with the Government of Maharashtra have organized the ‘5th Yashwantrao International Film Festival 2015’ from 17th to 23rd January 2015 at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Mumbai. The prestigious 5th Yashwatrao International Film Festival 2015 will be devoted to senior music maestro late Anand Modak. The event will be inaugurated on Saturday 17th January 2015 at 5pm in the central auditorium of Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai. On this occasion, two life time achievement awards, each one in Marathi and Hindi cinema, will be presented. A super entertaining cultural program of 20 minutes will be performed here. The event will conclude on Friday, 23rd January 2015 with ‘Yashwantrao Chavan: Bakhar Eka Wadalachi’, a film based on the honourable Yashwantrao Chavan. Other films based on the great personalities like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and others will also be screened. Five films will be screened in each of the three Auditoriams (Main auditorium, Rangswar Auditorium and Cultural Auditorium) on all the days of the Festival. The film will be screened using the technologies like DCP, Blue ray, DVD, 35 MM, DG Beta. The film that was accolade by first rank in the Pune Film Festival will be screened at the inauguration ceremony of this event in the Main Auditorium of the venue. Overall, around 75 films including global cinema, retrospective, country focus, Indian cinema, Marathi cinema, student competition will be screened during this extravagant film festival. The first show of every day will be held at 10.30 am during the event. The catalogue fee will be Rs 200 for Rangswar members, students, senior citizen and film society members and Rs 400 for others. For entry passes of 5th Yashwant International Film Festival, film lovers should present one passport size photograph and any one document of licence, college id, membership card of film society, senior citizen card as an identity proof. It is mandatory for each film viewer to be above the age of 18 years by 17th January 2015. Film lovers should look forward to enjoy the treat of international cinema in this festival.
