6/16/14 Skill: OH Squats and Double Unders -If you are not comfortable with OH Squats or your Technique needs more time before performing them in a WOD then you will do Back Squats at 125/85. WOD: 20 Min Time Cap NANCY 5 Rounds for Time 400M Run 15 OH Squats 95/65 S1=75/45 S2=65/35 S3=Back Squats -then- Rest 5 Minutes 4 Min. AMARAP 4 Tire Flips 4 Tire Jumps(In-and-Out) •Words of advice: There are no shortcuts to anyplace worth going Helen Keller Remember why you are here and where you want to be. Have goals and if you are not good at something then work hard to see some improvement. Do not settle for being bad at certain things bc there is always a way to get better(unless its an injury thats preventing). If you do not eat right then dont be upset or frustrated when your clothes are not fitting better. If you do not pust yourself in certain areas that you could then goals and motivation will begin to fade. CrossFit is increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains. What does this mean? It means through training we are able to push our bodies to work better, stronger, faster but not just in weightlifting or running. Broad time means we are able to push at extreme intensity for 5 minutes one day and the next we can pace out a WOD like Barbara for over 30 minutes. Broad modal domains deals with the 10 general physical skills: accuracy, agility, balance, coordination, cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, flexibility, power, strength, speed and stamina.
