6:45am. Lights outside the house. Diesel engine idling. I wait a few minutes before getting out of bed and peering down at the road - theres a 7.5 tonne wagon outside, box body, lit inside, and the cab lights on. Its pointing north, so it must have come from the steep and narrow road over the hill. A man is shutting our garden gate and climbing back into the wagon cab. He and the driver talk for a bit, shuffle papers, tap the sat nav, lean forward to it, lean back, talk a bit more. I go back to bed, chuckling over the name on the side of the box: EXPERT LOGISTICS.
