6/9/13 WEEKLY FAN BLOG TK BLU and the UNCOOL “Countries make the world wars, the arts unite the world” – Kevin Spacey Wow what a week. On a personal note, after 27 years, this week was my last week as an educator of music and the performing arts in the public school system. It was so emotional and heart felt and the love that poured out to me this week from the staff and students will remain with me to the end of my life. So now I take on full time, the plight of moving my music and the band to the international stage. But I will always teach. It’s my mission for the young to experience the excitement of the arts in their lives. The goal I will be seeking, to get the songs I have written and the band to the mass media. I know the band has so many talented and good human beings; they deserve to be on the international stage. Actually the world deserves to have them on the stage. I have some other projects especially being a writer, but the songs and the band are a major career priority. More time with family, my dogs, reading and of perfecting my skills will be part of my day as well. This week the focus is radio airplay and some summer bookings. There is one pending for July 4. Interesting , my web host ITELVID is working with me on who is visiting the band web site tkbluband and it looks like we are getting an average of 65 hits a day. Totally amazing! I am looking forward to sharing the journey with our fans. Please do feel free to write back to me.
