6. Current Events 1) Professional Dog Show of NGKC The highest-level and most authoritative professional dog show will con-sponsored by WPA and NGKC. Since the establishment of organization committee of WPE’14, this Expo has got more attention of industry insiders both at home and abroad. The scale of WPE’14 shows that the dog show will be an international game of high baseline and large- viewing-angle profession. On the occasion, the champion dogs from dozens of countries including America, Canada and Singapore will enter into rivalry. The dog show owns great reputation and public praise because of its authoritativeness, fair and objective. 2) Cross-Straits Veterinarian Conference Cross-Straits Veterinarian Conference is jointly held by several cross-straits veterinary associations, and cross-straits well-known small animal clinicians & scholars will be invited to solve requirements of professional veterinarians. The topics of this Conference cover clinic, dermatosis, tumor, parasite, diagnosis & treatment and other symptoms. Some Experts will make presentations on site, and interact with other veterinarians to answer questions about that. It is a comprehensive conference that will satisfy the demands of academic exchanges, talents transport and friends-making among cross-straits veterinarians, thus pushing forward the development of veterinary industry. 3) Taiwan Project Promotion Event WPA World Pet Expo 2014 specially sets the Taiwan Hall for organizing hundreds of Taiwanese pet-related enterprises, professional buyers and manufacturers to conduct project promotion.
