The link below (you may need to cut and paste) is my recently printed article on Dong Ha/Dai Do made available by the kind folks at Second Line of Defense (SLD). The editors at SLD have been supportive of getting a PUC Presidential Unit Citation for the men participating in THE BATTLE OF DONG HA/DAI DO 30 APR-2 MAY 1968 and will also be meeting with the editor of “Leatherneck” magazine to get them to publish the article as well. I anticipate that happening sometime after the new year. This whole effort is for the troops who NEVER RECEIVED THE RECOGNITION for their valiant and heroic performance back in 1968 and their ability to prevent a defining moment in the entire Viet Nam war that would have been both a strategic and tactical victory for the NVA. The word should be spread so this injustice can be corrected while these men are still with us. Supporting this effort by contacting yourr legislative representatives as well as past and present leaders, both military and civilian, is encouraged.
