6 OCLOCK NEWS RECAP WITH Orange Scores of passengers have been injured in yet another bus accident in Nakasongola. The early morning accident involved a Kampala-bound California Bus which overturned Kabaluuli along the Kampala- Gulu highway. According to the Savannah Region Police Spokesperson Lameck kigozi, the driver of the bus registration number UAS 566U lost control and overturned, injuring several people, five of them critically. Earlier this morning in separate accident, one person died on the spot and another was injured at Mabira forest along the Kampala-Jinja highway. The accident involved a Toyota Canter registration number UAN 518A that rammed into a trailer registration number ZE 4687 that was heading to Jinja. According to an eye witness Robert Ssengo the accident is suspected to have resulted from poor visibility during the early morning down pour. ……………………… The NRM Central Executive Committee meets today at State House Nakasero to discuss the report on irregularities in the 2010 party primaries.
