6 days before Christmas and Im going with the flow, 3 kids, 3 schools to drop things off with. At the high school level its always a hit or miss, but more appreciated than at any of the other levels. Middle school surprised me this year, those parents kicked some ass in participation and volunteering! And of course, elementary parents always do the right thing....except for the ones you run into who dont believe in candy or sweets, but cant give you a medical or allergy reason why, and you have to fix them with a bless your heart, arent you as special as lima beans look as you pour M&Ms in a bowl and spread cookies all over the table! I gave your kid a baggy of sugar for the road, and Im double fisting cookies in the pick up lane thinking about you! I havent eaten today and Im starting to get a little snarky. No candy at Christmas parties?! Thats crazy stupid talk!
