6 hours of straight dancing, this dj gave me a new lease of life last night! Amazing, check out his work. He spends time in West Africa digging up old dusty funk records and brings them to the rest of the world for our pleasure. Still in awe today. But I ask myself, why arent we all listening to more music like this? How did Techno and House surpass this incredible rythmic dance music to become more popular in clubs? Im not knocking Techno and House but its so rare to hear african music played in clubs and, mixed with funk, its one long endorphin rush; a natural high. People were literally beaming on the dance floor, unable to leave. So the moral is, be happy and listen to more of this music. Thank Mr. DJ!!!
