6 of us had dinner at the Royal Oak in Prestbury today. We booked the table on Saturday and told them that 3 of us were vegans so they made a separate vegan menu for us with 3 starters, 3 main courses and 2 desserts to choose from. They even got in 2 cartons of Alpro soya milk for us. I had masala vegetable pakoras to start with followed by goan vegetable and coconut curry with quinoa then finished with maple syrup grilled figs with blackcurrant sorbet. Jemma had the same starter and dessert as me but had garlic mushrooms with puy lentils as her main course. I would recommend this place to anybody.
