6 outlet grounding adapter, 3 wire. ______ note: these are two basic idea pictures of what I had been using. the one I have here around the mobilehome in a few places were probably both from the Home Depot Home Improvement Store as well as Radio Shack. Leviton is the manufacturer of the one Im trying to replace in my restroom wall socket. unfortunately the Leviton company seems to have switched the overall design of this particular adaptor in two ways. the first of which is now its made for two pronged plugs (instead of three pronged plugs) and thats also the 2nd change that spill over visually onto the back of the adaptor (I quickly noticed the 3rd big prong missing) on the ones being sold now at the Home Depot (on sherman way). so I left there and traveled to the Target Store on victory and vineland streets (where their store carried 6 outlet adaptors made by G.E.). yeah I didnt so much care for the look of the quality visually. I chose to not purchase one there. figuring it will probably just break again sometime soon. I tend to unplug the portable heater in the restroom quite a bit from time to time. the constant unplugging and plugging back into the Leviton 6 outlet adaptor probably helped to aid in speeding up its demise ( I dont think the innards to the adaptor can handle be constantly used in this manner). so the burbank Home Depot is where I *purposely* headed via the freeway at sunland boulevard entrance onto the 5 freeway and then exiting alameda street in burbank. the staff there were so nice! I now have a Defiant Branded 6 outlet adaptor (that even has surge protecting capabilities). it was $10.43 for the out the door price. but oh Ya All (it looks so much nicer visually) *strength wise & durability*. ______ the 3rd picture is the one the staff helped me purchase today.
