6 years ago is when Double Diamond Athletic Club and Parisi Speed School- Reno reached out to my family and offered training when there was no rehab for me in Reno. Looking at this today I can really see how far I have come not only physically but mentally. The best part about reflecting is how we are now able to offer the same things to others survivors with DDAC and Mike Shirley always stepping up and helping others in the community. Also due to the efforts of Teresa M. Morros, Because I Can and BRAIN-Brain Recovery Assistants Institute of Nevada we are pioneering a new Brain Coaching Program for Northern Nevada.
