6 years ago on this night I could not sleep because after 10 long months I would finally I would finally meet my first born the next day on the 17 September. Almost 10 hours of labour and there you came. The first time I held you I was overwhelmed with emotion. I remember exactly how you looked, your scent. Happy birthday Zion OReneile Mushwana. May God continue to preserve you and watch over you. You have grown up to be a charming, dashing and absolutely adorable young man. Ngiyaziqenya ngawe mtanami. When you were little I called you icici lami because you are that close and precious to me. I pray you walk in favour and blessings. Your emotional strength is surely a gift from God. I remember your first day at school, your first flight, your first tooth, your first haircut, your first tantrum; your first steps and your first words. My journey as a parent has been filled with tears; joy; long negotiation sessions with you but fact remains I love you son. The apple of my eye.
