6 years ago, while i was making cupcakes for Ryders 3rd birthday, I started to feel different. I remember mixing the batter, and knowing something changed. I remember watching the cupcakes in the oven, smiling, but trying to remember if i felt jake move . Didnt realize at the time that my life would never be the same, that i would never again feel complete. I held my son for the first and last time today 6 years ago. He was so perfect in every way. I just couldnt understand why or how this could happen. Jake has taught me a lot of lessons. It was in some way the worst and at the same time most beautiful experience in my life. He is my son. i feel blessed to have had him, even if it was for a minute. So here i am 6 years later, making Ryders cupcakes, thinking about what a handsome, spunky boy Jake would be.
