60 residents from Mahligai Home in Kajang cheered up when Kota Permai Golf & Country Club visited them on 31 October in conjunction with the Deepavali festival. The Home residents consist of multiracial Children, single mothers, old folks and residents with disabilities such as spastics, psychopathic, blind and others. Fellow staffs from Gamuda Land and Gamuda Land clubs, namely Botanic Resort Club and Jade Hills Resort Club joined hands with Kota Permai Committee members in the austerity drive. Led by Gamuda Land Club Group General Manager- Township & Operations; Mr Tang Meng Loon, the team handed over the contributions in cash and in-kind based on the Home’s wish list which includes electrical items. The resident happiness were evident as they also received Deepavali packets and goodie bags from the Management. The Management staffs and committee members later rolled up their sleeves in a joint effort to give the Home a fresh coat of paint on the grills and bedrooms. The Club also brought lunch to the Home. mygolf.my/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?p=98548#98548
