625p 10/20 (Forecaster Zach) - Good evening, Northeast! Its been a while since I wrote on this page. We have had a pretty warm October so far. That warmth is about to end, at least for the remainder of the month. Beginning tomorrow, we turn cooler, and by Wednesday, we are MUCH cooler! By Wednesday, I am expecting high temperatures do be in the 40s across portions of Upstate NY, and Northern New England. 50s will be the highs as you head further south. Also, Wednesday looks to bring a chance of rain. There is the possibility of wet snow to mix in across the higher elevations of the interior. No big accumulations are expected, but some models, such as the GFS, say that a Coating-2 are possible in mountainous regions. Following this event Wednesday into Thursday, the sun returns later on Thursday, but we stay pretty cool. Highs will be in the 40s throughout much of the Northeast, with some low 50s along the coast. Nighttime lows will drop into the 30s along the coast, with 20s across the higher elevations of Upstate NY and Northern New England. This pattern change does look to stick around through Halloween, at least. Have a great night, and stay tuned!
