65 Quranic verses condemning the majority: -Is it not [true] that every time they took a covenant a party of them threw it away? But, [in fact], most of them do not believe. [2:100] -You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient. [3:110] -Allah has not appointed [such innovations as] bahirah or saibah or wasilah or ham. But those who disbelieve invent falsehood about Allah, and most of them do not reason. [5:103] - And they say, Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord? Say, Indeed, Allah is Able to send down a sign, but most of them do not know. [6:37] -And even if We had sent down to them the angels [with the message] and the dead spoke to them [of it] and We gathered together every [created] thing in front of them, they would not believe unless Allah should will. But most of them, [of that], are ignorant. [6:111] -Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]. [7:17] -And We did not find for most of them any covenant; but indeed, We found most of them defiantly disobedient. [7:102] -But when good came to them, they said, This is ours [by right]. And if a bad [condition] struck them, they saw an evil omen in Moses and those with him. Unquestionably, their fortune is with Allah, but most of them do not know. [7:131] -But why should Allah not punish them while they obstruct [people] from al-Masjid al- Haram and they were not [fit to be] its guardians? Its [true] guardians are not but the righteous, but most of them do not know. [8:34] -How [can there be a treaty] while, if they gain dominance over you, they do not observe concerning you any pact of kinship or covenant of protection? They satisfy you with their mouths, but their hearts refuse [compliance], and most of them are defiantly disobedient. [9:8] -And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do. [10:36] -Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know [10:55] -And what will be the supposition of those who invent falsehood about Allah on the Day of Resurrection? Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people, but most of them are not grateful. [10:60] -And most of them believe not in Allah except while they associate others with Him. [12:106] -Allah presents an example: a slave [who is] owned and unable to do a thing and he to whom We have provided from Us good provision, so he spends from it secretly and publicly. Can they be equal? Praise to Allah! But most of them do not know. [16:75] -They recognize the favor of Allah; then they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers. [16:83] -And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]. But most of them do not know. [16:101] -Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], Produce your proof. This [Quran] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me. But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away. [21:24] -Or do they say, In him is madness? Rather, he brought them the truth, but most of them, to the truth, are averse. [23:70] -Do you think that most of them can hear or understand? They are like cattle, no, they are further astray from the Path. [25:44] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:8] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:67] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:103] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:121] -And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:139] -And the punishment seized them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:158] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:174] -Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. [26:190] -They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. [26:223] -Is He [not best] who made the earth a stable ground and placed within it rivers and made for it firmly set mountains and placed between the two seas a barrier? Is there a deity with Allah? [No], but most of them do not know. [27:61] -And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude. [27:73] -So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know. [28:13] -And they say, If we were to follow the guidance with you, we would be swept from our land. Have we not established for them a safe sanctuary to which are brought the fruits of all things as provision from Us? But most of them do not know. [28:57] -And if you asked them, Who sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness? they would surely say Allah. Say, Praise to Allah ; but most of them do not reason. [29:63] -Say, [O Muhammad], Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah]. [30:42] -And if you asked them, Who created the heavens and earth? they would surely say, Allah. Say, [All] praise is [due] to Allah ; but most of them do not know. [31:25] -They will say, Exalted are You! You, [O Allah], are our benefactor not them. Rather, they used to worship the jinn; most of them were believers in them. [34:41] -Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. [36:7] -Allah presents an example: a slave owned by quarreling partners and another belonging exclusively to one man - are they equal in comparison? Praise be to Allah! But most of them do not know. [39:29] -And when adversity touches man, he calls upon Us; then when We bestow on him a favor from Us, he says, I have only been given it because of [my] knowledge. Rather, it is a trial, but most of them do not know. [39:49] -As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear. [41:4] -We did not create them except in truth, but most of them do not know. [44:39] -Indeed, those who call you, [O Muhammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason. [49:4] -And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment before that, but most of them do not know. [52:47] -And when Saul went forth with the soldiers, he said, Indeed, Allah will be testing you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, excepting one who takes [from it] in the hollow of his hand. But they drank from it, except a [very] few of them. Then when he had crossed it along with those who believed with him, they said, There is no power for us today against Goliath and his soldiers. But those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah. And Allah is with the patient. [2:249] -Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors. [5:32] -And judge, [O Muhammad], between them by what Allah has revealed and do not follow their inclinations and beware of them, lest they tempt you away from some of what Allah has revealed to you. And if they turn away - then know that Allah only intends to afflict them with some of their [own] sins. And indeed, many among the people are defiantly disobedient. [5:49] -And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing. [5:62] -And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do. [5:66] -Say, O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people. [5:68] -And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allah turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is Seeing of what they do. [5:71] -Say, O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way. [5:77] -You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally. [5:80] -And if they had believed in Allah and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient. [5:81] -And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless. [7:179] -O you who have believed, indeed many of the scholars and the monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And those who hoard gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah - give them tidings of a painful punishment. [9:34] -So today We will save you in body that you may be to those who succeed you a sign. And indeed, many among the people, of Our signs, are heedless [10:92] -My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful. [14:36] -Do you not see that to Allah prostrates whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth and the sun, the moon, the stars, the mountains, the trees, the moving creatures and many of the people? But upon many the punishment has been justified. And he whom Allah humiliates - for him there is no bestower of honor. Indeed, Allah does what He wills. [22:18] -Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in [the matter of] the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers. [30:8] -And he had already led astray from among you much of creation, so did you not use reason? [36:62] -Has the time not come for those who have believed that their hearts should become humbly submissive at the remembrance of Allah and what has come down of the truth? And let them not be like those who were given the Scripture before, and a long period passed over them, so their hearts hardened; and many of them are defiantly disobedient. [57:16] -And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. [57:26] -Then We sent following their footsteps Our messengers and followed [them] with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. And We placed in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy and monasticism, which they innovated; We did not prescribe it for them except [that they did so] seeking the approval of Allah. But they did not observe it with due observance. So We gave the ones who believed among them their reward, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. [57:27] -And already they have misled many. And, [my Lord], do not increase the wrongdoers except in error. [71:24]
