6yrs ago myself and Daniel Van Dooren made our first attempt at paddling around the Nakheel World Islands. Standup paddling was relatively new to us and we had never paddled that kind of distance until then. The idea was to test ourselves and put in some effort for a good cause. 6 years later we have +60 people joining us on the same 30km trip. It is amazing to see how far the sport has come in Dubai and how many people are willing to give up their time and sweat for a worthy cause. This year we are making our donations to the Dubai Women and Children Foundation. Well done to everyone that has registered and giving it a try. Looking forward to tomorrow. See you in the water.
