7:00 am. Weather Update: The precipitation continues throughout the county. Rainfall has intensified and sleet and snow flakes are now in most of the County.. Average accumulation County wide is 0.04 in. Winds are slightly lower at 15 mph gusting to 23 mph from the NNE. Temperatures have moved slowly from 38(*F) at 8 pm to 32 (*F) at 7 am. Wind Chill has moved from 27(*F) to 22(*F). The radar is showing the freeze line is trying to move into the middle of the County. We are now receiving reports of ice starting to form on some bridges in the Pearland area. Please use extreme caution if you must drive this morning. Pearland ISD and Alvin ISD have closed school today. ACC closed today. CB ISD is on normal schedule. Brazosport ISD is on a Two-Hour Delayed State of School. Angleton ISD is also on a Two-Hour Delayed Stat of School. Danbury ISD classes will begin at 10:00 am today. Buses will run at 8:45. Sweeny ISD will start at normal time.
