7.11.14 - A quiet weather day for our region. A mix of sun and clouds. A pleasant morning. Temperatures will warm up later today and peak out at around 88 degrees. Light southeast winds today at 5-10 mph. Mostly clear tonight with lows in the sixties. Saturday and Sunday should be mostly dry. Just a small chance for a pop-up shower. It will be warmer and a bit more humid. Highs, both days, will be near 90 degrees. Heat index values may be a bit higher than that. This will occur ahead of a strong cold front that arrives on Monday. If we are going to pick up some scattered showers and thunderstorms, it would probably be on Sunday night into Monday night. Rain is not a guarantee with this system. At least not for everyone. Which is a bit unfortunate because we could use some precipitation. We may not get out of the 70s on Tuesday! Lows into the 50s next week. Not very July like.
