7:20 PM EDT Update- A cluster of strong to severe storms is moving across South-Central PA as well as other areas of strong storms in Western MD, Northern WV, and Northwestern PA. These storms will line up and extend further South to Northern MD, and spotty parts of the DC/Baltimore/No VA area. Mid-upper level winds are supporting damaging wind and hail threat over Central PA and parts of Northern WV/MD. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The best tornado threat is for SW VA and WV through 2 AM EDT. Right now there are a few severe warnings in Central PA as well as SW VA. There are no tornado warnings at this time, but some will still be possible overnight. Nighttime thunderstorms are the most dangerous, so it is important to continue to monitor the latest forecasts. Severe weather will not reach the bigger cities until after 8-9p. A severe t-storm watch has been issued for parts of the Northeastern WV panhandle, PA, Northwestern MD, and extreme Northern VA.
