7-6-13 I eat two bites from a “round steak” [big] dangling in mid-air in front of me. It’s disgusting and raw. My teeth scraped the meat off a big flat membrane [like a diaphragm in someone’s chest or tendons in a chicken leg]. It’s disgusting and I don’t think I can eat another bite. A voice asks what it tastes like. I reply that it had the dry texture of possibly a slice of [bone-in] ham. I see a chicken hindquarters, also raw [red] on the table nearby. The round steak was sliced thinner than normal, also like a goat steak. There’s a tall thin guy watching me from the water line at the ocean in the distance. Someone is selling what looks like a white hazmat suit that is supposed to be “survival gear“. It has an air supply inside it and a voice says that when it gets hot, the air conditioning kicks in. I see liquid spilled on the sand [jet fuel?] Steve tells me to go to the nearby store and buy some cheese, crackers and _____. I cross the parking lot, enter a complex and look for the cheese aisle. It’s dark but there’s a plunger type switch that turns on a flourescent light. I’m barely tall enough to see over the counter. One type of cheese is on sale each day: a shredded cheese in red striped bags, and today it’s $1.67 a pound. I browse and see some “Kindergarten” cheese and some for $11.26 a pound. I go to another, bargain priced part of the store that I know in the dream. It’s changed. The clerk I knew is gone--the one running the cheese counter which has been eliminated. There’s a new, information, counter. I try to hurry but get side-tracked by some wood wolf and owl shaped pieces of wood that have been marked down from 50 cents to 25 cents. There’s also a rabbit filled with pellets [of time-release fertilizer] of what I take for “soap”. I walk up to a thin young guy behind the counter. He pulls two white socks out of the left back pocket of my [red?] shorts. I can’t see color; it’s twilight. I had a paper bill and some coins in my hand that Steve gave me. They’re gone, as well as my purse. I look around cursorily but I’m in a hurry. Then I remember the new information counter and ask the middle-aged guy in the apron there about “lost and found.” I describe my purse from 1978. NOTE: the last time I flew [the purse was gray leather with fringe]. He hands it to me and says that they had a battery for an obsolete recorder, so fixed that. He goes on that he was going to show my science project to his mother that night. I exit and a blond classmate [Cindy] is right behind me. She asks, “Is that your husband?” Steve is walking across the parking lot towards me. It’s twilight. I comment that he has no sense of time and will think, even more than actually did, has passed. He doesn’t mention it. I follow him to a college campus to spend the night on a ledge of a building on the Pentacrest. I look through my purse. My driver license and bus pass are gone but my credit/ debit card is glittering ominously [like chemicals]. I say that that I don‘t have an ID, but only need it in case of police. Steve takes out a cellphone and calls someone. I ask, “Who“; he replies, “You know.” I rack my brain but don’t. NOTE: phone calls mean “plane crashes.” INTERPRETATION: White [hazmat suit] is worn for funerals in China rather than black as in the U.S. Wolf [1941] and Owl [1936] are years in Zoroastrian astrology. One Year of the Rabbit in Chinese astrology was 1999 [14/ 26/ 38 year olds]. In a previous plane crash dream: I was transported and forced to watch a plane crash. I sat on the ground behind a fence made of rocks. Purses fell from the sky. I looked in one for the identity of a passenger but only found a grocery receipt for $11.26. “Credit/ Debit” cards can be a symbol for “kharma.”
