7 Arrested and 4 Stabbed During Melee Near the International Lounge Worcester, MA (May 4, 2014) - On Saturday, May 3, 2014 at approximately 1:50 AM, several Worcester Police officers responded to a large fight in the area of Pleasant Street by High Street. A large crowd had just exited the International Lounge located at 27 Pleasant Street. Because of recent violent incidents involving patrons of this establishment there were several officers in and around the immediate area at closing time. A large crowd was observed walking west on Pleasant Street. Just as the crowd approached the area of High Street a fight involving numerous people broke out. The scene was chaotic. Officers stationed nearby were quickly outnumbered and called for assistance. Officers attempted to break up the numerous fights when some in the crowd attempted to turn on the police and assault them. As a result several arrests were made. The following were arrested during the fight: 1.Jordan Pizarro, 19-years-old of 18 Orne Street, Worcester, Charged with Disturbing the Peace, Affray and Disorderly Behavior. 2.Jose Pizarro, 22-years old of 18 Orne Street, Worcester, Charged with Disturbing the Peace, Affray and Disorderly Behavior. 3.Jovannexen Rivera, 19-years-old of 1514 Main Street, Worcester, charged with Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace and Resisting Arrest. 4.Edwin Roman, 21-years-old of 72 Goldthwaite Road, Worcester, charged with Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace. 5.Phill Fevry, 22-years-old of 26 Crown Street, Leominster, charged with Disturbing the Peace. 6.Ronald Follins, 23-years-old of 71 Keystone Drive, Leominster, charged with Trespassing, Resisting Arrest and Disturbing the Peace. Just prior to the large fight, a male identified as William Wilson, 21-years-old of 273 Grafton Street, Worcester, was placed under arrest outside the International Lounge for Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace and Civil Rights Violation. During the fight four people were stabbed. Three people were discovered at the scene. One male had fled the scene and went directly to a nearby hospital for treatment. Some of the victims received several stab wounds. One victim is in critical condition but is expected to survive. The three other victims received non-life threatening injuries. The stabbing victims were conscious and alert when interviewed by police. The victims refused to cooperate with police and provided little to no information with regard to the identities of the ones who stabbed them. Police identified several people at the scene as active gang members. Investigators are conducting interviews in an attempt to identify those involved in the stabbing. This investigation is ongoing.
