7 DAY SPOTLIGHT – DAY 7 (Why Manayunk?): “I just love the community feel! I like everything about it, I mean we’re more small town. People have come and gone over the years, but Ive always felt a little bit of unity here, Winnie explains. In our own little world we all have the same idea to push forward. I’m really about the community feel. I find a lot of love here!” Joe definitely had to agree with Winnie. “I think it’s a great tourist attraction and has a great feel to the neighborhood. It has a homey feel to it, yet the neighborhood is in Philadelphia. The whole feel of the area is amazing, and Winnies LeBus Manayunk fits.” Overall the prevalent sense of community that appears as soon as you enter into the town borders of Manayunk is what attracted the Winnies team to Manayunk to begin with. When Winnie was looking to open a new location, Winnie chose to stay in Manayunk.
