#7. “Oh to know more about God!” My friends, just the fact that you want to know more about God, shows that God is tugging at your heart and telling you to seek after Him. There is so much more to learn than what you and I know right now. But this is an awesome process! Because the more you seek after God, the more you will find Him. The Bible says in, Matthew 7:7-8 (NKJV) 7 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Also, in your looking, always make for sure that you interpret the Bible with the Bible. There are NO contradictions in it! If you think you have found one then you must search a little further and dig a little deeper, then you will see the truth. The Word of God is alive and it produces life in the hearts and lives of the believer, when it is divided (Studied) properly. Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. You cannot understand it with just your mind alone. God in His Word says He has hidden the secrets of its true meaning from those who think they are wise, all by themselves. 1 Corinthians 2:5-11 (NKJV) 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him. 10 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. My friends, always know that God is love and that He loves you dearly! He is not reigning down terrible things on you in this life or the next, simply because you messed up somewhere. No! Instead He is waiting for you to see Him as He is, so that He can reveal even more of Himself to you. He is a loving God, a dear Father who wants to love and hold “You” His dear child. This is why He makes this statement concerning you searching for more of Him and His righteousness. Mat 5:6 (KJV) Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they SHALL be filled.
